Golden Matcha Latte

A creamy, subtly sweet, spice-infused drink rich with antioxidants, this will be your new go-to caffeinator for business and pleasure. Served hot or cold the flavors of turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, honey and matcha will explode in your mouth. And we mean that in the best way possible.
INGREDIENTS
Serves 1-2
- 80 ml full fat coconut milk + 180 ml water
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 ground ginger
- pinch of cardamom
- Pinch of black pepper
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) maple syrup/honey
- Tiny pinch of salt for taste balance
- Matcha shot
METHOD

Mix coconut milk and water. Add to sauce pan together with spices.Warm up but don't boil.

Transfer to a jug and froth. (Or use a milk frother machine)

Make matcha and pour to the cup. Top with spiced milk. For the iced version, simply skip the warming part and cold froth milk with spices.
